Bone also publishes a blog for the Denver Post called "Well-Preserved Colorado", about home canning. In 2003, she published her first book, At Mesa's Edge: Cooking and Ranching in Colorado's North Fork Valley. Bone’s second cookbook, Italian Family Dining: Recipes, Menus, and Memories of Meals with a Great American Food Family, was written with her father, chef, cookbook author and artist, Edward Giobbi. Her third book, Well-Preserved: Recipes and Techniques for Putting up Small Batches of Seasonal Foods was published in 2009 and was nominated for a James Beard Award. Bone is also frequent lecturer on the subject of home preserving and mushrooms and is a regular guest on the Martha Stewart Living radio show. In the fall of 2011, Eugenia's fourth book, Mycophilia: Revelations from the Weird World of Mushrooms was published by Rodale. She also launched mycophilia.com, a forum for mushroom recipes and links to mushroom information and resources.
